Save money by utilizing reusable concrete monitoring sensors. Small, reusable sensors are embedded inside the concrete, and the lead wires are routed to the outside of the formwork. The lead wires are plugged into the NEX Monitoring System, and the nodes are powered up. Nodes begin to record concrete temperatures in two ways:
- Nodes transmit data via the cellular network wirelessly to “the cloud” where data is instantly visible to any user.
- Nodes simultaneously record data onto an SD card as a backup.
The recorded temperature histories of the concrete are then applied to one or more industry-standard formulas, and the concrete strength is accurately estimated (per ASTM C1074).
When monitoring for a specific project is complete, the sensors can be removed and reused again at the next job site.
